History:
Wallflower's father shared her power of manipulating pheromones, and used it to collect fame, money, and women. Which was how he got Gail. After Gail became pregnant with Laurie, she became immune to Dr. Garrison's powers, and left him and raised Laurie on her own.
Following her mother's lead, Laurie became a loner. Until, one day on a holiday vacation, she became wildly popular, as her power had emerged. Realizing this, her mother attempted to gently talk Laurie down from it, but this only resulted in Laurie become even more of a loner, afraid of what she might do to others.
It was in an attempt to get Laurie to come out of her shell that Gail sent Laurie to Xavier's, moving to Salem Center, herself. Of course, that idea completely flopped as Laurie flew through roommate after roommate. She just recently got a new roommate; Sofia Mantega.
Sample Post:
Laurie clenched her eyes tight, a few stray rays of sunlight streaming through her curtains and resting perfectly on her eyes. Groaning, slightly, she rolled over, attempting to relax and drift back into a peaceful sleep, only to no avail. Letting loose a defeated yawn, the blonde sat up, groggily rubbing her eyes. Today was one of those peaceful and quiet mornings in which she had no roommate to worry about. For once she was free of the fear of affecting another person's emotions.
Of course, she was due to get another roommate today. What was this, her tenth? Fifteenth? Twentieth?
It didn't matter. This person would probably leave like the rest of them. All she could ever do was drive people out. That was all that would ever happen. Her new roommate would come, last a day or two, maybe three, then get re-located. They would say it was them, not her, but the blue-eyed teen had realized the truth after the fifth or sixth high-tailed it out of there.
Glancing around the room, Laurie contemplated quickly tiding up before her roommate arrived, but decided against it. They would probably be gon as quickly as they had walked in. No point in trying to impress them.
