Victor Mr. Freeze Fries
Take Control...
TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR CITY
Full Name: Victor Fries
Nicknames: Vic, Mr. Freeze, any ice puns you can come up with are more than likely nicknames
Gender: Male
Age: 27
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Location: Arkham Asylum, Gotham
Origin: DC
Height: 6'
Hair: Bald, formerly black
Eyes: Red, formerly blue
Typical Clothing/Uniform: His uniform consists of bulky clothing with gloves that allow him to freeze people. His entire head is covered in ice with only a vague silhouette of his face and glowing red eyes to be seen. The color scheme consists of black and gray-blue with icy blue on the inside of the gloves. He's required to wear this in order to live, or he needs to be in extremely cold temperatures. Due to this, his uniform doubles as his typical clothing.
Powers/Abilities: Mr. Freeze has the ability to shoot ice from his hands, granting him the power to freeze objects - or people, depending on the situation.
Team Affiliation: Affiliated with Bane I would assume. At least, eventually.
Personality: Victor is cold and bitter towards most. His morals have been warped due to being turned into what he is now, making him a cold hearted criminal. He's been known to give others the cold shoulder. He has a tendency to use cold puns. The only person he can really warm up to is his wife Nora, and he hasn't seen her for quite some time. He also seems to be rather emotionless and speaks with a chilling monotone.
Family: Nora Fries(wife)
Marital status: Married to Nora Fries, though his wife is unsure of his status.
History: Victor Fries had it all at a time. He had a wife, a home, a decent job. Everything was going well until his wife Nora was diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. Things spiraled down and the couple was struggling with paying for the medical bills that came with Nora's treatment. This led Victor to get into criminal activity in order to get the cash needed to help pay by becoming a bank robber at night. Nora pleaded that he stop once she found out, but he insisted to keep going for her sake.
He probably should have listened to her advice. Vic found himself in trouble one night of stealing, followed by the Batman, and found himself swerving away from hitting a hobo while on the run. He crashed into a scientific building and searched for a place to hide. But despite his efforts, Batman found him when he tried escaping with a briefcase of jewels. When he accidentally dropped the case, he tried going after the jewels. Instead, he landed in a cryogenic chamber that altered his body's functioning. Batman attempted to help him, but failed miserably. When he was finally released, he was doomed to stay in cold temperatures for the rest of his life. He forced a scientist to tailor a unique suit to help him survive. Vic also came to discover he had the ability to control ice. Victor returned to a life of crime quickly, now a horrible habit.
Victor Fries was put into Arkham by Batman, though it appears he won't be staying there much longer...
Sample Post:
The cell was hell frozen over. Fries sat in his cell, thinking away in the frozen mini wasteland. There really wasn't much else to do in there. Escape wasn't an option at the moment. Freezing the walls and breaking out didn't work, no matter how many times Fries tried it. The material that created his room didn't allow thing like that to happen. Imprisonment didn't come close to describing what he felt in there. It was solitary confinement. He didn't have the luxury of talking to anyone. Not that he really had a desire to talk to anyone.
Unless you counted Nora. That was one person he still desperately wanted to talk to. Laugh with her. Catch up with her. It was depressing to remember good times when Vic remembered what he was now. Now?
Now all he was capable of was havoc. He'd adjusted to it. Crimson eyes stared down at the ground, fists clenched. This wasn't his fault. He just took lemons and made lemonade. Was that so hard to comprehend? Apparently so, since he was locked up in here. Alright, so his moral compass was quite off by most standards. Maybe he really did belong in a cell where he was going to live like he was in Antarctica. But that didn't mean he wasn't taking the first shot he could get out. He wasn't one to let go of grudges. Not by a long shot. He needed at least one more little meeting with the Bats.
What a bone-chilling experience that was going to be.
