(January 31st. Open to all in the Xavier building at the time.) "This might be the dumbest thing I've ever seen done in the history of the X-Men." "Brian? Shut the fuck up." Viper rolled his eyes yet stayed standing there watching with snake-like eyes at what he perceived to be the dumbest thing he'd ever seen. Smartly dressed youth shifted his feet as he stood behind Max who was quite pleased with his idea. He stood on a step stool beside a classroom doorway, pasting a sign for all to see. The poster was colorful and icy and read: 1st Annual Xavier Institute Winter Ball Friday: February 5th 8pm to 12am. Formal Wear Only, no jeans, sneakers or sweatpants. Location: Danger Room Dates Optional Max stood back to admire his handy work. "It'll be fun," he remarked, "This place is a school and we have to treat it like one. Otherwise what are we but drones?"

-[ I hope you don't mind me joining this thread? ]-
Pandora was loitering quietly in the large hallways, getting lost was a large habit of hers, this was the third time today. Noticing two males standing next to a colourful poster, she thought it best to ask for directions to where she actually needed to be.
Putting one leg in front of the other, she moved slowly towards the two. "Hello." She said softly to them both, lifting a mittened hand in greeting. Just as she was about to ask them directions, she got distracted by the poster that the smartly dressed male had been posting on the wall next to a classroom. She looked tiny compared to the two of them. One seemed around 5'10" and even she couldn't tell the height of the other because he stood on the step stool to put up the poster, she didn't doubt that he was taller than her.
Large hazel eyes fixed curiously on the poster. As she read it, a smile tugged at the corner of her lips. "A ball?" She said, almost to herself, "That sounds lovely." Pan had always loved balls, especially as a child, her parents always held the most spectacular and colourful ones at home. She'd had one for her sixteenth birthday. Though, that had been her least favourite out of all of them, her parents had claimed it was for her birthday, but her birthday was on Halloween and they'd decorated the house like it had come from a horror movie. All the same, she loved going to any kind of ball. And the formal attire wouldn't be a problem for her in any way, though she normally chose whatever was clean, the majority of her clothes were smart and she had about three formal dresses to choose from. Right now, even though she was inside, she was covered for the winter, with a white bobble hat, matching mittens and scarf and pale blue Doc Martens. She'd actually been mistaken for a lost child earlier on in the day.
Pan had taken off her coat because she hadn't really been planning on going outside and it was reasonably warm right this moment. She still covered her arms with a denim jacket and black tights under a emerald green dress. Only her face was visible through her clothing. "I've never been to a ball outside of home before." She muttered to herself, tapping her chin with a mitten covered finger.
"Oh!" She exclaimed loudly, when she remembered that there were two people in front of her. "Hello." Pandora said for the second time.
