Alex cleared his throat, shuffling his shoulders in an attempt to stay warm. His coat wasn't exactly a bundle up and keep warm sort of deal, so he did what he could with what he had. Alex didn't have a large array of polite words and introductions, so when she introduced herself to him in return, he inclined his head, acknowledging the fact.
"Havok." he supplied instead, in return to the 'code names' they'd all chosen. He eyed her carefully when she brought up the guy with the blood. Must've been the outcome of his punch. For the first time, something of a smile took Alex's face, though it was still a little hollow.
"I didn't use my powers, if that's what you mean." he quickly summed up that he'd resorted to a good ol' fashioned brawl style. A swift punch.
"S'at for?" he gestured to the necklace she was clutching. Mostly brought up simply to serve as a distraction.

"Aye...Havok..." She repeated the words before gazing down at her thin chest. "Oh...th'cross? I...was raised in church." No details, just a flat answer. No details of the hand of God coming down to smite the wicked out of her. To come down and keep her from lusting and from enjoying life. Rahne moved a strand of messy hair out of her face.
"No, tha's no' what I meant," Rahne squeaked, "I mean...did ye...say anythin' tae rattle'em up?"
She dipped her head. "Back where I'm from...I go' chased out o' muh home down...by m'adopted father no less." She peered upwards. "So...y'know anythin' ye tell me I've prolly seen before."

He eyed her carefully. She was being sketchy, and it made Alex a little wary, but for the most part she did seem fairly innocent. He could see she wasn't going to let him get away with being vague, no matter how vague she was being in return with him. So he shrugged it off, and gave her what she wanted.
"I didn't say anything really." he admitted. It was the truth, "They were being goof's, talking crap about mutants and.. I dunno." he shrugged again, pressing his lips together. He was speaking without making eye-contact, looking straight again.
"They followed me." he finished curtly. He hoped that was all the explanation she would need.

"Oh aye," she said nodding carefully, "Ye know, I dinnae judge ye. I canno'. I dinnae have the righ'." She didn't, being a sin unto itself she couldn't blame another for lashing out. She ran her fingers through her hair softly and bit her lip. Her cheeks still flushed red but whether Alex would think that was from the cold or from the attraction would be up to him. Rahne hoped and prayed he wasn't that observant.
"I'm sorry, I dinnae mean tae pry," she said softly, "So..why d'they call ye-" She paused. "Wolfsbane, y'see was a name chosen because o'muh powers. I change intae a wolf an' a wolf-girl. No' verra interestin' but..." She paused again.
"I'm sorry, I dinnae usually ramble about like this...ye must be bored stiff..."
