Peter has often had to choose between his life as Peter and his duty as responsibility leading him to take the hero’s path and sacrifice his happiness for the good of others. One of Peter’s most notable traits is his sharp wit and his sense of humor that is often a source of annoyance to those he faces and sometimes his allies. Peter finds it hard to work with others due to his youth as a social outcast but he is attempting to face this by unconditionally helping other heroes such as the X-men, the Avengers, and the Fantastic Four.

Ben Parker (Uncle/Deceased)
May Parker (Aunt)

History: Peter Parker was orphaned at the age of six when his parents died in a plane crash overseas and thus Peter was raised by his aunt and uncle Ben and May Parker. Peter was incredibly bright and this often made him a social outcast in high school and made him the frequent target of the school jock Eugene “Flash” Thompson. One day on a field trip Peter was bitten by a radioactive spider that had escaped containment in the research and development labs of Oscorp which was studying genetic modification to allow humans to benefit from advantages of certain animals. Peter began to develop powers similar to the spider which bit him such as increased strength, speed, etc and the ability to scale walls.
Peter attempted to cash in on his new abilities and use them to make money as a wrestler making a red and blue suit to hide his identity. He was a hit but after his exhibition a thief robbed the proceeds from the show and Peter who did not see it as his “responsibility” let the thief escape. Little did Peter know that later that night the same thief would to rob his uncle Ben who refused to back down and the thief killed him in cold blood. Peter was enraged and tracked the thief down to an abandoned warehouse where the cops had him surrounded. Peter beat the thief into submission and was about to kill him when he learned it was the same thief he failed to stop, filled with guilt and remorse Peter left him for the cops. Peter couldn’t shake the guilt he felt and after that night he vowed that he would accept the responsibility that came with his new powers. Using his scientific mind he created his “web shooters” and “web fluid” that was developed by Oscorp to be stronger than tensile steel. With this and a new and improved costume Peter began his adventures as Spider-Man.
Sample Post: New York. The Big Apple. The one place on Earth that breeds most hatred for one another that Peter had ever seen. Peter sat crouched on the Empire State Building and he looked down across the horizon as the sun began to set criminals loved to come out at night no clue why but it might have something to do with the fact they think that people can't see them. Oh boy these guys were regular scholars. Peter began his usual patrol of the city and so far things were quiet but when he came to the market district an alarm was sounding. Time to go to work.
When Peter arrived a jewelry store was being robbed...by a woman in a skintight suit. Peter rubbed his head and biting his lip. If this was who he thought it was then this night might not end the way he planned it to. "Hey Cat, I thought I told you that the scratching posts were on Broadway. Just put the jewels back and I'll tell the cops some kids were vandalizing the store." The woman turned and she lifted her amber colored goggles and it was not Black Cat. What were the odds of two female cat thieves in New York. "Uhhh wow do I feel stupid. You're not Black Cat. All the same you're going to have to put those back. Prison is just not a good place for a woman right now." She laughed at Peter and said "I've been threatened by better than you."
Peter rubbed his head again. What the hell did she mean "better"? "Umm right well who would be better than me?" Just as Peter finished speaking he heard a voice behind him. "Me." Peter perked up and slowly turned his head looking at a guy slightly taller than Peter wearing all black and had a yellow and black bat on his chest. Well this night just got more interesting.
