((January 15th, after Gotham's Reckoning. Limited open roleplay. Bane's bring back Leland from the break out. Deadpool? Ivy? >w<))
He hoisted his massive frame out of the lid of the tank and jumped to the ground. All of the vehicles had pulled into the run down station, and they had returned with more people than they had arrived with since the break-out of Arkham Asylum. Many of the people kept in the Asylum had wanted to join. Those who were more trustworthy were allowed to return to the Train Station with his troops.
Those suffering instability could still be utilized, but not permitted in case of fierce reactions to the environment. So Bane, to grant them his 'trust' and give them something to do in his favor, pledged them run through Gotham at their own free will, and they would hear from him in time.
He didn't want any unstable troops to somehow hinder his own, but he surely wasn't going to turn them to any of his enemies or competitors.
He handed his heavy coat off to a man who quickly dispatched himself off with other business. It was still wet, and his boots were dripping as hard rain fell on the roof of their building. Tarps had been placed over the parts in the ceiling that were left open, as train stations often supplied.
"Bring her to me." his voice shuddered. There was no doubt in the reaction of his men that their leader was requesting their guest. Leland. The doctor.
"Were is the mercenary?" he asked another soldier, who dipped their head silently and descended, perhaps to find said mercenary; Deadpool.
Not long after he had asked for her, his men returned with the doctor. Her hair was more muddled than it had been at the Asylum, which Bane noted, as his men nearly carried her in, grasping her arms roughly on either side.
"Release her." Bane commanded, his eyes crinkling at the corners as they narrowed. "She is no insane patient of Arkham, she is not to be treated as such." he ordered. They listened, without question.
"Doctor." he greeted, inclining his head.
This was no good cop and bad cop routine. Bane merely had a simple manner of common courtesy.
A better class of criminal.

Leland ripped her arms away and clutched her arms where they had grabbed her. The dark eyes narrowed, staring towards the hulk of a male in front of her. She wasn't worried about her hair at the moment-the only vain portion of the good doctor-but she did have her hand go up there every once and a while to check the mud. Her narrowed orbs scanned the beast before dipping her head in a nod.He wasn't crazy and that scared the shit out of her. Crazy she was used to. Crazy she could deal with. When the patient she was dealing with was sane that was when she had trouble understanding why they brought anarchy and destruction. Bane had destroyed her Asylum. He wasn't quite going to get her best attitude.
She shook her wet stringy hair out of her eyes before sneering towards Bane. "Do you have a title you prefer?" She whispered, "Or is it just Bane?"

He didn't expect her best attitude. That much he was certain. He'd had many prisoners, dealing with them frequently in his 'line of work' as one might put it. Bane found the best way to treat them? Comfortably. They'd likely to the job of being fearful on their own. In any case if they were doing what he wanted, what was there to be violent about? His men were aggressive. Bane just needed to exist to cause fear. He radiated intimidation.
To her question he merely gave one paced nod, before returning his gaze to her. He didn't speak for a moment, only examined her, assessing her feelings. Anything she would give away, Bane would pick up on and keep in mind.
He assumed she'd be uncomfortable, she was a hostage, but too uncomfortable and she wouldn't be able to achieve her standards of work. He began closing the gab between them, his boots rumbling the ground with every step he took.
"Do you know why you're here?" he breathed heavily, looking down at her.

"It's been months and I'm so utterly bored. I don't know how to describe it," Wade muttered to himself. He exaggerated how long he was bored, but he didn't care. At all. He was lying on the ground, dressed in his typical attire. Nobody would think of him as an oddball around here! Deadpool considered himself a mild case of crazy when it came to Gotham. He wasn't running around throwing gas at everyone, launching magic boomerangs of death, obsessing over clowns, or raiding the nearby jewelry shop. Ok, so maybe he was an assassin, but at least he was classy.
Or so he'd like to think.
"I'm so bored, I wouldn't mind running and waving my arms around like I've lost my mind. Wait. Nevermind. I already lost my mind. If I didn't want to look professional, I would have been running around like a spaz anyway." The mercenary inhaled deeply, exhaling an exaggerated sigh. His gaze was focused upwards until a presence caught his attention. He turned his focus to a soldier.
"No no, don't tell me. Big Daddy Bane needs me, am I right? Or am I right? I'm right." The Merc with a Mouth lifted himself upwards from his resting place, popping his back as he did so. "Let's go, let's go, chop chop. Ain't nobody got time for all this standing around. I'm getting bored to death, so yeah. Moving it would be great. I'm feeling sorta kinda not really sober right now." The merc rubbed his eyes, suppressing the urge to yawn.
Despite telling the soldier to move it, he wasn't entirely sure if he himself wanted to actually move now that he got himself standing up. Yet, it was time to pay Bane a visit. Mentally, Deadpool hoped this meeting would go with a lot less gas. That was something he would not look forward to experience again.

She was terribly uncomfortable.
Not in the sense of a man who normally examined a woman, not like he was undressing her with his eyes. But no, it was more like he was assessing her, taking her in as some men would examine a gun. How would they use it, who would they use it on. It was unnerving and she crossed her arms over her chest. Normally she didn't give away any feelings but Bane wasn't crazy. Far from it in fact.
"Could I at least get a towel?" She asked over the awkward silence before he spoke again.
"Do you know why you're here?"
She tilted her head curiously to the side.
"Not exactly, no," she murmured, "I can only assume it's because you need a doctor."

Bane signaled to his men for towels with only a shift of his eyes after she had requested it. The men returned, not with soft plush towels, but a big grey blanket of sorts that was heavy, and dropped over her shoulders. That was apparently the best they could do. She replied to his question, and his facial expression hardly changed.
"To a certain extent." he supplied to her reply, "Yes." he admitted. More or less, that was the idea. But not the type of doctor she assumed he needed. Of course, her side services and experiences would also be valuable, she didn't know she'd be working with one patient in particular.
"I trust Mr. Wade is on his way." Bane asked, turning around abruptly. It was clear he was no longer addressing Leland anymore, as a soldier straightened up and nodded vigorously. Bane had presented a mere question. It hadn't sounded like a threat, but anytime Bane talked to someone it would present danger regardless.
"Your specific skill set," Bane hadn't turned around yet, but had begun talking to Leland again, "Is most useful with direct interaction with patients." he turned around. "I suggest you make yourself comfortable in what we offer." Bane advised. As if it were a normal proposal that she had an option to refuse or not.
Bane was quite certain that Deadpool would be a high task.

Deadpool began his journey to find Bane. He wasn't too far before he made out the hulking figure of Bane. The Merc with a Mouth decided to shave off some time by teleporting to the location, landing beside Bane in a puff of red. "Note to self. Don't teleport with a headache," the mercenary muttered to himself. Now a part of the scene, Wade took note of what was happening. Among those present, Deadpool could recognize Bane, obviously, a handful of soldiers, and Wade himself. There was a new face that he didn't recognize. She didn't look like she was happy at all.
"Ooh, lemme guess... She's an Arkham Asylum doctor, shrink, therapist, psychiatrist, medical professional, or she works at a pizzeria," the mercenary mused, mostly to himself. Had he been there moments earlier, he would have heard her mention doctors, which probably would have narrowed down her occupation. Then again, Wade wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed. He glanced over Bane. "You look stunning today. The mask really brings out the seriousness in your eyes. And your eyebrows. Those look pretty serious too. You must be quite the chick magnet. Tall, dark and mysterious, muscular. Women would kill for men like that." The red and black clad man cleared his throat.
"Anyway, I'm assuming you need to introduce me to your lady friend over here?" The mercenary crossed his arms, gaze focused on Leland now. Truthfully, Deadpool had been expecting someone more... Extraordinary? Someone flailing a knife around, colorful hair, carnival face paint, something more exciting. Maybe Deadpool was the only madman Bane wanted to handle.
Still, Wade expected a little more than a young woman with mangled hair and a heavy duty blanket.

She winced in surprise when the blanket was dropped on her shoulders. She took it, however, and attempted to wipe the mud and rain water from her dark hair. It didn't work too well, so she just sat it back on her shoulders. She frowned and crossed her arms taking in what he'd said. He'd kept her alive, that was enough to peak her interest. But the man wasn't the Joker. He wouldn't just kill for no reason or so she assumed. She shifted her feet on the floor before stepping casually out of her heels. He HAD said make herself comfortable. Those heels were killing her something awful.
She raised her eyebrow at the man in red and black who'd approached. what did HE have to do with anything? Who was he? She rolled her eye at his speech, turning her nose back towards Bane.
"I don't quite understand," she said, her voice quivering slightly, "But I guess I don't have a choice. I took an oath to help my patients and help them I shall."

Bane had turned to Deadpool looking completely placid, eyes almost dull. The mercenary's efforts for humor were entirely lost and wasted on Bane, who only waited patiently for the man to finish. Child like. Bane was no stranger dealing in that business, and almost found the nuisance intriguing to some degree. When he'd finished, Bane would speak with his rumbling voice.
"Your theatrics in light amusements are commendable." was all Bane had to say in regard to the complements. The fact that he'd acknowledged it at all was mystifying. Then, he turned his dark eyes to the woman.
"This, is Dr. Joan Leland." Bane explained, "I will have you working quite closely with one another to... harness some of your capabilities. I trust this will be no complication." Bane asked, turning his eyes between the two of them slowly. Though it was a question, and given the tone of a proposal on top of it, Bane's requests always managed to come out sounding like threats.
And in the end, who would like to test the theory that they weren't in actuality; threats.

The eyeroll was expected. Wade was used to it. After all, this town already had a certain joker, didn't it? A certain Joker. Wade kept his thoughts to the situation at hand. A simple enough task. He tried to keep his thoughts focused on the situation at least. That had to count for something. His thoughts weren't centered around spicy food, which was a plus.
Instead, he was trying to register what Bane had said to him. Did the other masked merc actually just comment on something Wade said? What was more puzzling was that Wade had nothing to say on the matter. He didn't say a word. He was speechless. An incredible feat. No matter how hard he'd try, he could never seem to get Bane to say anything about his attempts to use comedy. To get a reaction stunned the Merc with a Mouth.
Then came the question. It sounded a lot more like a threat. Wade was getting better at deciphering threats. When his attempts to amuse others failed, Wade was quick to realize he received threats due to his performance. He snapped out of his moment of silence. "Dr. Joan Leland? She's a doctor. I'm getting so good at figuring people out..." The merc cleared his throat. "Ahem. Anyway, back to business. Complications? No, no, not a single issue at all. She seems like someone I would prefer not to stab. I don't come across those kind of people too often."
Though Wade could easily be considered as stupid and idiotic, he wasn't someone you wanted to upset. He had a tendency to lash out at people. He wasn't scared to kill people. It was what he was paid to do.
