Location: New York.
Origin: Marvel
Play-By: Chris Hemsworth
Height:6'3
Hair: Long and light blonde.

Typical Clothing/Uniform: Typically, Thor wears a red cape, bracers, a sleeveless armor piece on his chest, pants, and boots. When in battle, this is accompanied by chainmail. He wears human clothing in public.
Powers/Abilities: Thor wields a hammer called Mjolnir that aids him in battle.
Team Affiliation: The Avengers
Personality: Thor is a bit of a headstrong, arrogant man, though he is slowly getting better. Thor often thinks with his muscles before he thinks with his brain, and he can get carried away in battle, though he's also getting better with that as well. He's a very proud person, but he does have his heart in the right place, as he does have morals and he cares deeply about those he considers his friends. He even still cares for his adoptive brother, despite Loki's recent actions.
Family: Odin(father), Loki(adoptive brother), Frigga(mother)
Marital status: In a relationship with Jane Foster, but unmarried.
History: Thor was born as the son of Odin, the next in line for the throne of Asgard. He grew up alongside Loki, unaware that his brother was an adopted frost giant. As he grew into a young man by Asgardian standards, he was to be crowned as king. Things didn't work out in his favor, however, when frost giant intruders broke into the castle before Thor had been announced as king. Enraged, he told his father that they should go to war with the giants, but Odin refused and said nothing good would come out of that. So what did Thor do? Completely disobey his father of course! Himself and a small group of other Asgardians travelled to their territory and ended up fighting with them. When things were getting far too rough, the group returned to Asgard, and Thor had to feel his father's wrath. He was stripped of his power, stripped of his hammer, and sent down to Earth.
And then he was hit by a van.
After his first experience on Earth, he was taken to a hospital by the scientists who had run him over by accident, where he escaped and once again hit by the same van. He joined them to find his hammer, learning about bits and pieces of Earth's culture along the way. Unfortunately, the scientists he was travelling with lost their equipment to SHIELD. After a run-in with them while trying to retrieve his hammer (ultimately, he didn't get it back as he was no longer worthy to wield it at the time), Thor was locked up where Loki approached him, telling him Odin was dead. Later that day, Thor escaped with the alias of Dr. Donald Blake and managed to grab Jane Foster's book of notes.
So he was stuck with the group of scientists and bonded with Jane Foster, the very woman who hit him with a van. The group of scientists and Thor were out and about when some of Thor's buddies approached him. They told him Odin still lived. Not long after that, they had to deal with a giant machine. After trying to reason with it, Thor was backhanded and collapsed onto the ground. Hard. In that moment, he redeemed himself, and his hammer returned to him, as well as his godly power and attire. He defeated the machine and had to return to Asgard. After a kiss goodbye to Jane, he returned to face his brother. After a fight with him, he was forced to destroy the bridge to the other realms to prevent Loki from committing genocide upon the frost giants. The two were about to face their demise, but were rescued by Odin... until Loki let go of Thor and let himself fall into abyss. The Asgardians mourned for the loss of Loki, and Thor was unable to return to Earth.
However, as fate would have it, he found his brother was alive. Somehow, he had been able to return to Earth where he attempted to capture his brother. Things didn't work out in his favor. Instead, he got into a fight with Captain America and Iron Man. This led to him joining the Avengers, and reuniting with 'Son of Coul.' However, after a mishap with Loki, he was locked into a prison cell intended for the Hulk. 'Coulson' had come to his aid, but was killed by Loki. This led to Thor and the cell he was trapped in dropping to the ground and he was forced to escape the cell. Luckily, he managed to do so.
He regrouped with the Avengers and helped them in battle until Tony launched a nuke that ended all the invading aliens' lives.
They then proceeded to eat Schwarma.
It was then decided Thor would return Loki to Asgard, and thus that's what the Asgardian did. Though when it became apparent his services may be needed more often to the people of Earth, Thor travelled to Earth and purchased an apartment in New York in order to stay close to the other Avengers.
Sample Post:
The blue-eyed Asgardian strolled on through the busy streets of New York, forced to wear clothing of the mortals in order to blend in. His blonde locks were swept back on his shoulders, a plaid patterened shirt covering his torso and jeans equipped on his legs. His hands were stuffed into his pockets, a wonderful invention created by humans. He absolutely loved being able to shovel his hands into pockets. The streets were bustling, as usual. Thor bumped into a few people here and there. He was used to it after being in New York for a while. It was custom for the New Yorkers to not really care about who they ran into, apparently. Thor was a god amongst them, but he never said protested when he was shoved out of the way. On ocassion, someone would actually recognize him, though those times were few and far between. Today, however, there was someone that he recognized. A look of perplexity crossed his face. He knew him. He was a dead man.
"Son of Coul?" Thor managed to sputter out, bewildered at the sight of his friend walking amongst the living. He plowed through the sea of people, trying to reach his friend, but to no avail. It seemed like the moment he found him, he vanished. What? No, Coulson was dead. He saw him die. Didn't he? With his own eyes, he watched Coulson collapse to the ground, and then Thor was attempting to escape the death trap Loki got him locked up in. Coulson had died. The other Avengers confirmed it. Something was odd, however, and Thor knew it. He had to figure out what in the world was going on, and he had to relocate the Coulson doppelganger to find out who he really was.
One could call it his own personal mission.
